Why Choose Heli Me?
Q: How long is the flight from Auckland, and what will I see?
A: The helicopter flight from Heli Me’s Mechanics Bay Heliport takes approximately 22 minutes. As you travel north, you’ll enjoy panoramic views over the Hauraki Gulf, coastal beaches, and rural farmland before arriving directly at Te Arai Links. The journey is as remarkable as the destination, offering a new perspective on New Zealand’s stunning northern landscape.
Q: What is included in the Te Arai Links helicopter package?
A: Your experience includes private helicopter transfers to and from Te Arai Links. The flight is exclusive to your group, ensuring comfort, privacy, and a seamless journey. Green fees, caddie hire, and dining are organised separately, giving you flexibility to plan your perfect day.
Q: What are the current green fees and rental options?
A: 2025 Te Arai Links season rates are as follows:
1 – 30 April: International $850 | AU/NZ $425
1 May – 30 June: International $850 | AU/NZ $400

Caddies are optional but recommended: Single, $225 per player per round; Double, $205; Forecaddie, $225 (split between players). Trundlers $20, and rental clubs $80 per round.
Q: How far in advance can I book tee times?
A: For guests not staying on-site, green-fee play at both the North and South Courses can be booked within 28 days of the chosen date. Tee times are subject to availability and are closed during aerification or maintenance days. We recommend booking early with Heli Me to secure your preferred flight and play time.
Q: What should I wear or bring for the day?
A: Te Arai Links is a walking-only experience, so wear comfortable sport shoes or golf shoes with nubs rather than soft spikes or cleats. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect against the coastal sun. Caddies and pull carts are available to assist with clubs, making your walk enjoyable from the first tee to the final green.
