Please let us know where on Waiheke you want to go and we will arrange a landing slot. Some locations may have an additional charge. Waiheke Airfield is available for landings every day.

The Auckland Airport Heliport is located beside the International terminal (see the Auckland Airport tab). Walking time to the domestic terminal is 10-15 minutes. Taxis or a free bus service is available.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This Helicopter Me Experience departs from or arrives at our base at Auckland Airport Helipad beside the international terminal, and from Reeves Airfield on Waiheke Island. Landings at restaurants, accommodation and activity locations are subject to availability and may or may not require an additional charge. Please let us know where you would like a drop off or pickup from on Waiheke and we can make the arrangements.
Unlike large airliner aircraft individual passenger weight is critical for a helicopter. The average passenger weight for a flight must be 90kg or less. Passengers over 100kg may be required to pay for an additional comfort seat. Please let us know the passenger weights when making a booking. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you are unsure about weight restrictions.
Luggage total allowance is dependent on the number of passengers and the helicopter used. Heavier passengers may be further limited on luggage weight. If you have extra or heavier luggage then we can arrange road transport for for this luggage. An extra cost may be charged for extra luggage transport.
Airport transfers are only available during daylight hours. Please contact us if you are unsure if your planned transfer time is during daylight hours.
Cancellation and refunds
The Passenger acknowledges that Helicopter Me may need to cancel or reschedule flights or services due to landing restrictions, unsuitable weather conditions, technical problems, operational reasons, or any event beyond the Carrier’s reasonable control. Helicopter Me will not be liable for any consequential losses or additional costs incurred as a result of cancellation. Some Supplier’s products and services are non-refundable. Cancellation fee of 50% applies if cancelled prior to 1 day of flight departure. Cancellation fee of 100% applies if cancelled on the day of flight departure. Tickets are refundable in the event that Helicopter Me cancels the service.
Fares are in NZ$ and include 15% GST. Rates are subject to change including, but not limited to, increases in or establishment of surcharges (such as fuel surcharges), taxes, government imposed fees, seasonal changes. A fuel surcharge may apply at time of flight. Any request to increase flight time will incur additional charges.
