Horse Trek Engagement

Imagine the wind in your face, the sun on your skin and the sound of the surf pounding as you ride along the beautiful and peaceful Pakiri beach together.

Your guide will introduce you to the wonders of this very special place. There is romance in every step and every sound, from the dune tracks to glades in the native bush. Nature acts as cupid and you may even be lucky enough to catch sight of dolphins in the bay!

All this leads you to the privacy and indulgence of your own private beach gazebo where champagne and special treats are served. The setting is now complete. All that’s needed is you, your heart and who knows… perhaps the courage to ask the ultimate question?

Duration: 3 ½ - 4 hours

Price is per couple and includes helicopter flights guided horse ride, private gazebo and champagne.

Departure location

This Helicopter Me Experience departs from North Shore Airfield, 300 Postman Road, Dairy Flat, Auckland. Other departure locations such as the City and Auckland Airport are available but may incur and additional charge. Please contact us for pricing.

Passenger weight

Unlike large airliner aircraft individual passenger weight is critical for a helicopter. The average passenger weight for a flight must be 90kg or less. Passengers over 100kg may be required to pay for an additional comfort seat. Please let us know the passenger weights when making a booking. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you are unsure about weight restrictions.

Weather

In the event that the weather is unsuitable on the day then your Experience will be cancelled and rescheduled at no cost to you. When booking please provide us with suitable contact information so we can get hold of you on the day in the event of a cancellation. We suggest you call on the morning of your experience if you have any doubt about the weather suitability.

Cancellation and refunds

The Passenger acknowledges that Helicopter Me may need to cancel or reschedule flights or services due to landing restrictions, unsuitable weather conditions, technical problems, operational reasons, or any event beyond the Carrier’s reasonable control. Helicopter Me will not be liable for any consequential losses or additional costs incurred as a result of cancellation. Some Supplier’s products and services are non-refundable. Cancellation fee of 50% applies if cancelled prior to 7 days of flight departure. Cancellation fee of 100% applies if cancelled within 7 days of flight departure. Tickets are refundable in the event that Helicopter Me cancels the service.

Price

Fares are in NZ$ and include 15% GST. Rates are subject to change including, but not limited to, increases in or establishment of surcharges (such as fuel surcharges), taxes, government imposed fees. A fuel surcharge may apply at time of flight. Any request to increase flight time will incur additional charges. Fares are valid for the date/s specified.
